As it’s well documented – BSG’s Eric McKenna work with KISS legend Paul Stanley to bring a unique and more affordable USA Custom Preacher to market.

Eric’s idea was the PS5.

Initially the first runs of PS5 guitars were done in natural, satin finish over a mahogany carved top body and a maple set-in neck, ebony fingerboard and PS9200 Art Deco headstocks. As the runs went through, Washburn’s Custom Shop Director, Terry Atkins and Washburn’s Paint Guru Chewy delivered Eric a handful of solid color PS5 guitars. Some black – come white – some red and a few in bright Taxi Cab Yellow!

Custom made by the Washburn USA Craftsmen in Chicago, this Preacher is Spec’d out with black hardware including a TonePros bridge and Grover Tuners with Keystone buttons. It’s outfitted with black open coil Seymour Duncan humbuckers. A JB in the bridge and a ’59 in the neck.

This is a STUNNING single cut which, along with the Washburn Idol, just drills the Gibson Les Paul into the ground. Paul Stanley designed this guitar to HIS singlecut. He took attributes from traditional single cut construction and added his own touch. And BSG just added some additional flavor.
