Boogie Street Guitars

Washburn blended the industry’s finest single-cut – the IDOL with Parker neck technology and what surfaced was the WI556.

This particular piece Brand New pieces was custom built for BSG and has the ‘Boogie Street Customs’ designation inked on the back of the headstock. Expertly done by Washburn’s paint guru, Chewy –

Sadly, like the HM526, the WI556 is no longer in production. And we don’t see them coming back, sadly.

However – BSG had a few done in custom colors for us. Here is an amazing WI556 done up in an amazing dark blue!

These guitars are spec’d out with thick mahogany carved body, mahogany set-in neck, carbon fiber epoxy fretboard, stainless steel frets, direct mounted EMG 81/85 humbuckers, Floyd Rose trem, Grover tuners and a whole lotta attitude!!

Cool Stuff!

Great Dark Blue finish with just a small ‘hint’ of metallic in the paint. Very, very faint. Very ‘set-in’.
