As in the promo video I just launched -

This Indonesian factory is really 'nailing it' in terms of protos. With Korean production/labor rates escalating - Washburn, like all other mfgs, are looking to other import factory locations. Indo is a logical choice because of the situation where this particular Indo factory is a sister company to the Korean facility which makes our top-end Korean Brutus and PS8500BSG guitars.

This White Brutus proto is damn nice. About 90 percent per spec. Nice deep carve, nice abslone block, great paint lines, Schaller Floyd Rose, Grover 18-1 with Keystone buttons.

This is an all Mahogany guitar. Mahogany set-in neck, mahogany body and mahogany Carve. We commissioned it with DiMarzio Super Distortion hummers. We have not pulled the hummers but based on the tone, alone - it appears they are DiMarzios and not import hummers. (and based on my price - they should be!)
