God I love this movie. Just the way its told and made to look like a real documentry does it for me. Makes it feel so real. And how you dont get to see the witch or whatever the dam thing is in the woods makes your mind work overtime 
One of my favourite films of all time. | |

No offense to anybody who liked this movie, but I thought it was the biggest waste of film EVER produced. I think I was expecting something different before I watched it, and was disappointed when I finally saw it.

i liked it and part two also. i tell people that and they think i am stuipd or something. i like how they filmed the whole thing.
but whta was funny is, the week the movie came out all three of them wher eon jay leno. i was like wtf, they should not be on tv. that right there ruined some of what they where trying to do. |

Yea i wish the actors never came outta the woodwork, cuz up until it's release it was a "real" documentary, then all of a sudden it was a cheaply made movie.
That's not to say watching it was pretty freaky....especially the last few seconds of the original....you're just like "OMFG WTF K THX BYE!" . ..lol
But ahh well.....still entertaining for it's time. |

I went to the theater alone, and there weren't too many people there. I totally got engrossed in the film, and think it was very cool. |

Didnt Freak me out at all and although i thought it was decent I think it was too over hyped if they would have cut back on saying it was this great movie it might have been better for me at least | |

I was so excited for this show.......... went to the movie theatre with my husband and my mom and dad .....I really liked it ....the end soooooo freaked me out LOL but the best part was watchin my Dad get REALLY Freaked out....since hes the one that showed me horrow movies and all I thought it was great ....(Plus it was the last horror movie I watched in a theatre with him) |

Ok... this movie... fucked me up.
I saw it the weekend it opened.. at a huge theater our ID's got checked 3 times before we went in... the whole theater was sold out... probably 200 people.
Evgeryone was kind of laughing and shit during the stupid parts.... but.. when they got lost... and the night parts of the movie were on.. people were freaking out.. a couple people had to leave... and i to this day still think that the last 10-15 minutes of that movie is some of the best cinema ever! When he was standing in the corner every fucking person screamed.... and when it was over.. we all just sat there for about 10 seconds then everyone left.. and nobody spoke.....granted the first time is the best but.....fuck i have to watch it now. | |

oh this film never gets old. watched it again the other night. it does f**k with your mind.
there was a bw forum thats has closed now (well i cant find it anymore) and fans of the film would post screen grabs of the film where they see creepy things in the background. and the theorys they came up with aswell where pretty cool, who killed them and how/why they got lost in the woods. | |
