This guitar is part of the 12 special WI68 Customs commissioned in 2006. This is a '1 of 1'.

This Washburn USA Custom is a 'REVERSE' Confederate stain job over a 4A flamed maple top. Chewy REALLY did some magic here. We opted for a 'water' blue for the top instead of the more traditional 'dark' blue. The idea was not only to make the guitar just a bit more unique but to put a blue stain that would fully reveal the quality of the flame. At times the top looks blue - at times a bit turquoise. VERY amazing.

The back of the guitar was commissioned with the 'BoogieBolt' paint job. As the pictures will show - there is a TON of bolts on this one. Chewy really 'went to town' on the BoogieBolt paint scheme.

The headstock has the typical USA Washburn Custom 'Washburn' script in MOP and the oval in MOP. Brutus is expertly painted over the oval. They Chewy glazed the entire headstock in Blue.

Black hardware including Grover 18-1 with Keystone buttons, Black Tone-Pro Bridge and Black Metal Knobs. A Custom Red/Blue Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck and an all black Seymour Duncan Black 'Custom Custom' in the bridge.

I took some of the pictures with a Flash - some without. It's hard to capture this guitar without seeing and holding it. Another work of art.

And you won't see another quite like it.
