I met Bernie a number of years ago, and had known his Father. The Rico family heritage you speak of is no urban legend or myth. It is a simple FACT that Bernie Rico Sr. made some of the most revolutionary guitars EVER made, and I am the proud owner of spectacular examples of the Rico families guitars. I have been playing guitar 40 years, and can say with absolute certainty that the new guitar line Bernie Rico Jr has created is nothing short of SPECTACULAR, in every aspect. The craftsmanship is unparalleled, and to say he has advanced the art of luthier craft would make his father immensely proud. Then again, he might have just seen it coming. The best part of Bernie Rico Jr’s tutelage is the customer service AFTER the sale. I can wax eloquent for a long time on these two special men, but rather than bloviate, I will say this. If you don’t own a Bernie Rico creating, you don’t really own the best of the best, I have owned virtually every “special” guitars ever made, and these new guitars surpass each and every one of them. I hope anyone who wants a special guitar will find them in Bernie Jr’s new product line. Congratulations should also be extended to whoever buys this outstanding guitar. She is special!
