We did this run based off the production Washburn X-50. But BSG added the blue quilt maple carved top, mahogany body back, mahogany set-in neck, ebony fingerboard, white binding, gold hardware, BSG’s BoogieMan 1st fret inlay.. TonePros bridge, Grover Tuners and Seymour Duncan ‘Custom Custom’ bridge humbucker and a ’59 Zebra in the neck.

Washburn WHITE LEATHER WRAPPED PS1900 Paul Stanley Proto

Boogie Street Guitars’ Eric McKenna commissioned three leather wrapped Paul Stanley PS1900 guitars. All were sent to Paul. Two have been returned to BSG.

Eric’s working with Paul in order to develop a totally spec’d out leather wrapped PS1900 guitar. There was a white leather and two black leathers.

This listing here is the the white leather wrapped body.

Please note: The guitar is not ‘perfect’. This is a Prototype. There are some scuffs and marks from the handling the guitar has seen between the factory, Washburn, BSG and Paul.

The guitar has Grover tuners w/Keystone Buttons, a TonePros Bridge, two Randall Humbuckers, Ebony fingerboard with Paul’s split block inlay, binding – etc.

It comes with a Letter of Authenticity from BSG’s Eric McKenna. It also comes with a custom formed and fitted Leather case.

A BLACK & TAN Nuno N4 – with a twist!

So..as you may know, Boogie Street Guitars has commissioned a run of 30 numbered and very special Washburn Nuno Bettencourt Signature N4 USA custom shop guitars. I designed the specs of this run with maple necks and fingerboards. So naturally when coming up with a name for this run of Nuno guitars – Black & Tan was the ticket!

We have received the first 4 of the 30 Black & Tan guitars. Well – I requested some ‘one offs’ in the Black & Tan series. Leaving some of the specs and trim ideas up to Terry Atkins and Chewy in the Washburn USA Custom Shop. One of these special ‘one off’ Black & Tan guitars landed today.

This one has all the custom specs of our Black & Tan run but this guitar utilizes Chrome hardware and a painted headstock front. EXCEPTIONAL!!

Washburn USA Custom Shop ROGER WATERS Guitar

In the early 2000s, Washburn had a signature deal with Roger Waters.

BSG sold most of these guitars. These were the RW300 Customs.

Well…This is the LAST ONE ever made.

In Washburn’s words…

“The RW300 brings together a Seymour Duncan P90 style pickup and a Fishman preamp with a piezo bridge. These pickups, in combination with the chambered mahogany body and solid spruce top, reduce the chance of feedback and give the RW300 a tremendously accurate and vibrant acoustic tone. Roger was the creator and sonic architect of such undeniable classics as Dark Side Of The Moon (which spent nearly 15 years on the Billboard 200 album chart), The Wall (which has been certified 23x RIAA platinum), Animals, Wish You Were Here, and Final Cut. Following Final Cut, Roger Waters left Pink Floyd.”

There is NO CERTIFICATE for this guitar as the remaining couple signed certificates that were remaining at Washburn were lost. Not all of the guitars were made. But – this last one was constructed in 2007. It’s been tucked away at BSG for 3 years.

'RACING RED' USA Custom Shop PS5 Preacher!

It’s here!

As discussed in our prior video I mentioned that Washburn Custom Shop Director, Terry Atkins, did a couple of our PS5 guitars up in solid colors and high gloss! And this Racing Red monster does not disappoint!

I saw the guitar at Washburn last week but somehow – it looks even BETTER here at BSG!

Dan did a great job photographing the guitar however – Red is a very, very tough color – maybe the toughest – to photograph digitally.

This guitar is RED. Racing Red. Not Orange. Not Burgundy. RED!

It’s outfitted with Red/Black open coiled Seymour Duncans. A Custom Custom Seymour Duncan in the bridge and a Custom Custom Seymour in the neck. It has black hardware including a TonePros bridge and Grover 18-1 with… of course…KEYSTONE buttons. It’s the BSG WAY!

There will other solid color PS5 guitars and more oil finish PS5 guitars. Paul digs them. I dig them. Washburn digs them. And most importantly – the PS5 owners really dig them!
